Blitz All-Nighter

An all-night middle school event in Des Moines on 11/1/19

bowling

We’re going to put the Wii and Xbox controller down this time and test our real skills at bowling. Pick your best teammates and bowl as many games as you want during rotation time at Air Lanes!

Meals from the heartland

Students will work in teams to prepare and package as many meals as possible at Meals From The Heartland. The packed meals will eventually help feed people who are in need.

metro ice

Students have two options for fun at Metro Ice. On rink 1, practice your ice skating skills. Metro Ice has skates you can rent for free. On rink 2, you can play broomball. It’s like hockey except without skates and a ball instead of a puck.

rollerskating

Skate West is an indoor skating rink where you can have fun whether you want to move fast or slow. Skate West will rent roller skates for free but you can bring your own roller blades if you choose.

Sky zone

Back by popular demand! Sky Zone indoor trampoline park is a Blitz favorite. You can do free jumping, play trampoline dodgeball, jump into the foam pit, or use the trampoline basketball hoops!

SportsPlex West

SportsPlex West has an indoor turf field for games like soccer, touch football, and Ultimate Frisbee. They also have three gym courts for basketball and volleyball!

valley community center

Students can play dodgeball until their arms fall off at the Valley Community Center. You can also try the giant inflatable obstacle course or play Nine Square In The Air. Don’t want to be active? Relax by watching “The Greatest Showman” or just sit and talk in the Cafe!
